Biographies

Jennifer returned to Scotland in 2006, following studies at the RNCM and Indiana University and four years as Principal clarinettist with the Orchestra of the Algarve, Portugal.

In the UK she has performed with orchestras including the CBSO conducted by Andrew Nelsons and RSNO, including recordings with Marin Alsop. She has worked for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra on education and dementia projects As a chamber musician Jennifer has broadcast on BBC Radio 3, performed in the Aldeburgh Festival, the Algarve International Music Festival, and at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London.

Harriet studied at Oxford University and the Guildhall and spent 8 years freelancing in London before returning to Scotland in 2005. She has toured with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and works regularly with their education department delivering outreach programmes in schools, hospitals and prisons. Harriet has performed on stage for cabaret and theatre and records regularly with the Pumpkinseeds Session Orchestra.

Claire studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now RCS) with Jean Hutchison. There she won prizes for Solo and Chamber music, including the Peter Morrison Prize for All Round Excellence, and represented the Academy in recital tours of Iceland and Russia. She completed the Advanced Solo Studies course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Paul Roberts.

Claire is very active both as an instrumental and song accompanist, also performing as half of the  Kilnaish Duo, and collaborating in a duo with baritone Phil Gault. Claire has been a staff repetiteur at Scottish Opera, a Vocal Coach on ‘Vocal Inspiration’ and ‘Art of Song’ courses, is a staff accompanist & coach for the Scottish International Flute Summer School, and holds accompaniment, coaching and teaching posts at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow University music department, and the music school of Douglas Academy, as well as being an accompanist for NYCoS.
